
The Management Advisory Panel (MAP) is chaired by Professor Jennifer Green. The membership of the Management Advisory Panel (MAP) was chosen by the Chairman after consultation with the CCWP, Management Committee and the EPSRC. The composition of the MAP reflects the current and proposed user base and include significant representation from experimentalists. The MAP have 7 members (including the chair) and meet 1-2 times a year. Membership will be reviewed on an annual basis, with no one member serving for more than 3 years. No more than 2 members will be regular users of the Service. Professor John Dyke, Professor Mike Robb, and the Service manager will be "in attendance" at MAP meetings.

To develop a strategy for the expansion of the Service, in particular in the areas of Biological and Materials Chemistry.
To advise on how the Service might be developed to meet changing the needs of its user community.
To receive reports on the usage and functioning of the Service.
To oversee the management of the Service, to ensure that it runs efficiently and with complete impartiality.
To advise on ways to promote and publicise the Service.
